Ever since I was a child, I have always questioned the importance of diet for health. I have memories from my mother telling us that we humans are not made to eat animal products, we are herbivores. Then, my interest in the natural approach regarding being healthy began, but my journey to becoming a Nutritionist was long.
It started during my teens when I was diagnosed with IBS and I already knew then that taking medication was not the solution. Since then, I have tinkered with different diets and I read the latest findings on foods and how they impact the human body. I learned to recognize the signals my body gave me after certain foods, and a few years later I became symptom free from IBS completely on my own.
I have also suffered from adult cystic acne, which was very difficult as there were days I didn't even walk out the door. It hurt terribly, and I was ashamed. It tormented me for about 5 years.
During my studies as a Nutritionist, I was also given 6 months off my studies due to severe fatigue. There were days my legs could not hold my body.
Today I am healed and I have done it completely on my own with the right foods. My goal in life became stronger than ever. To help people with their health.
Before my studies as a Nutritionist, I wanted to feel life on another level. I traveled the world working on various cruise ships. It was fantastic and very educational. Today I have been to almost 40 countries and to over 60 cities. I can truly say that I have experience from different cultures when it comes to its dietary intake and health.
A long-term challenge to strengthen living conditions to promote health and prevent disease is my future. My passion has always been to make people feel better through themselves with a natural approach. My approach is nature, to help you with what it has given us. Together we can heal from the inside out with aids from nature.
What is a Nutritionist?
I see the connection between diet and health, that is, nutrition. Nutrition is a subject that connects knowledge about the body's handling and needs for nutrients based on scientific backgrounds. This with the help of knowledge about human health and eating habits. My University degree was four years, and I studied scientific subjects and treated the subject based on molecular, medical, epidemiological and public health aspects. Also, Chinese medicine with herbs was included in the training.
Much love
